Support a ChildOur StoryFounder Ivan Twinomugisha was a Red Cross field officer in Jinja, Uganda, when he met children who were not in school: orphans, street children, children with no one speaking for them. He spent his own salary on books and uniforms, and began talking with schools, churches and local leaders.
Today we work in Ntungamo, a rural district where early childhood education is out of reach for many families.
To transform the lives of children so they thrive, through collaborative family and community interventions.
To enhance child wellbeing through safe space, quality education, loving families and inclusive community participation.
A child thrives when the whole circle around them is strong, so our work reaches children, caregivers and communities.
Early childhood education for 100+ children from vulnerable families.
Tuition, learning materials and a daily meal for children who could not otherwise attend.
Weekly mentorship for ages 10 to 18, and child-protection training for church teachers.
Savings groups, income training and adult literacy so families can support their children.
Pathways back to learning for teenage mothers, children with disabilities and children in forced labour.
Tailoring, bakery and agriculture training that leads to income.
TwinHope is not a plan on paper. It is a working school.
Our children deserve a safe, lasting place to learn. The land is purchased and the architect’s design is ready.

Gifts go to the TwinHope account in Uganda and are spent against an itemised budget. Donors receive progress and financial reports.
